Chapter 2: Return to the World

The sun was rising, casting golden light through the clouds over Five Elements Mountain. The air was filled with the scent of pine and the distant sound of birdsong. On the mountain, the stone monkey sat amidst the dust, his eyes closed. Five hundred years had passed, and he had finally started to regain his senses.

Suddenly, a voice echoed in his mind, "Brother Sun Wukong, have you woken up?"

Opening his eyes, he saw a monk sitting in front of him. The monk was old, with a long beard and a gentle expression.

"Who are you?" Sun Wukong asked, his voice hoarse from years of disuse.

"I am the monk who listened to the scriptures in the Cloud-Temple. I have come to see if you have recovered," the old monk replied.

Sun Wukong frowned. "Cloud-Temple? What's that?"

"In the world, there are many sects and temples. The Cloud-Temple is a famous one where many monks gather to listen to scriptures and practice cultivation," the monk explained.
